MENTAL HEALTH IN TV

Mental Health in TV

Sun 19 May, 13:45 – Event Space, HOME

75 mins - £7/£5 conc

Mental health struggles are something that all of us face at some point in our lives, however only in recent years has the vital discussion of them entered the public sphere.

Join Pilot Light for a look into the importance of mental health being represented in contemporary TV, a chat with some of those creators telling these stories and a discussion around ways in which our audiences (and the panel) use their favourite TV shows as self-care during rough mental health periods.

Our panel will feature Gina Tonic (Deputy Editor of Polyester Mag), Stewart Lucas (Strategic Lead, Mind in Greater Manchester) and Emma Bullimore (TV Journalist), and will be chaired by Pilot Light's own Grace Barber-Plentie.
