From artist, filmmaker and musician Terence Nance comes an astounding experimental HBO series that delivers a unique, surreal and subversive look at contemporary American life with particular focus around black male fragility. Showcasing an ensemble cast of emerging and established talent, each episode features a handful of short vignettes that weave together a number of themes around today's complex issues such as polyamory, gender identity, police brutality and white supremacy.

Pilot Light TV Festival present the UK premiere of Random Acts of Flyness, screening the first two episodes followed by a post-screening discussion panel around the show’s themes and the recent rise of prominent black creators in American contemporary TV with Ramy Elbergamy (commissioning exec, c4), Laura Kirwan-Ashman (filmmaker) and Kibibe Bailey (producer, park district), chaired by filmmaker Adjani Salmon.
